The guy made his coordinators do all the recruiting, because he was too lazy to go out and recruit. He was at his best was when he had Saban's recruits and Sabans coordinators on his team. I was traveling through Kansas with my LSU jacket on. We stopped to eat and a few Kansas fans came over to talk. They were excited about Les taking over their program and were looking for a real turn around. I told them that it took him 11 years to take a superiort program to mediocrity. Their program was already at the bottom and I just couldn't see him coming in and and making them better. Talk about taking the oxygen out of the room.

Raymond has not done well since 2019.....his last year with Stingley wasn't good and since then his Defenses have been unorganized, alot of blown assignments, being 2nd for the big recruit etc. Chevis would of been better

Combination of NIL and short time on the staff. I understand this staff is only 4 months in. Bo Davis, Kevin Peoples and Corey Raymond were always going to be behind the 8 ball on the 2025 class. Kudos to them on doing a good job so far

This is A&M sowing dissension with their money. If they can flip him that's the cherry on top, but A&M is having toplay defense with a lot of their top in state targets against LSU. By making LSU have to focus on keeping their own bell-cow so to speak, it takes away time that they could be using the 5 star safery/baseball prospect, Lockett, and other big time Texas prospects. Actually a very smart play by 8&4. I doubt it really works, but they have to do something to kind of go on the offensive instead of always having to fend off LSU from their targets by making LSU devote resources to keep their own commits.

This is a negotiation tactic to increase his fee. Logical move in the current NIL market.

LSU should withdraw their offer and let him go to Texas 8-4. Let him wallow in mediocrity at College Station, and when he wants to transfer back home, tell him no. Give him a bus ticket to Aggieville and tell him this is the only thing you will ever get from LSU.

Very few of these 4 and 5 star players ever pan out. They just have fat heads. It’s the hungry and aspiring 3 stars with chips on their shoulders that you want. They wind up becoming Joe Burrow types.

All time, the best football/baseball hybrid school would probably be USC. They have 9 (claimed) chips in football and 12 in baseball. But LSU is by far the best in the modern era. The Tigers' last 3 head coaches in BOTH sports have won at least one national championship. Geaux Tigahs
